With National Rum Day around the corner Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum (www.sailorjerry.com) is doing it up right, by celebrating it at Shameful Tiki located at 1378 Queen St West (www.shamefultikiroom.com) on August 16th.

There is no better way to pay tribute to the man Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins, than through the Hawaiian influence of Tiki culture. Collins made his home in Hawaii in the WWII era Honolulu and opened his now legendary tattoo parlor on Hotel Street.

We are bringing back the Hotel Street vibe, with a Sailor Jerry Tiki menu for one night only. We are also working with our good friends at The Baitshop (www.thebaitshop.ca) to create a Sailor Jerry and Shameful Tiki exclusive collectable for National Rum Day, only available for that night.

Come say hi to the host of the party Arron Thomas, the Canadian Sailor Jerry Brand Ambassador .Over the last 6 years with Sailor Jerry one of the things Arron has learned is that National Rum Day needs to be followed by a National Day Off Day! Check out his latest creation that will be parked out front, in case you can’t find the place just look for a deep red 1974 Ford Econoline with the name Punch Bowl on the side.
