The Electric Revival Announce a huge Canadian tour and new release FREAKS!

The Electric Revival

"All the guys ripped. One day I'm gonna build me a guitar like the one Ian has with the built in Theremin. I'm no critic with fancy words but I know what I like and The Electric Revival get it done just right." - Ron Reyes, Black Flag/Piggy

“HATS OFF TO JIMMY, BUT THIS AIN’T NO ZEPPELIN CLONE”

Brad Simm - Beatroute

“This is classic rock cranked up with fiery eyed focus, old time blues with a rocket strapped to its ass.”

Lucas Klaukien - Paranoid Hitsophrenic

2014 was an amazing year for The Electric Revival! After landing a distribution deal for their album Pirate Radio, showcasing at Canadian Music Week, and entertaining crowds with a very successful European tour and 3 Canadian tours, the band is ready to release their 3rd full length studio album, Freaks; the album will be made available internationally on iTunes February 1st 2015. Freaks is a powerhouse rock n roll album that not only offers the desperate lows the band is well known for, but also the devious highs fans have come to expect from The Electric Revival. As a result of refining their dirty Detroit rock sound on this recording, the growth and experience gained over the last year of hard touring is truly evident.

"We want each record to have its own identity," states singer Ian Dillon. "We never want to do the same thing twice," and the Electric Revival has done just that with their follow up to the successful Pirate Radio. Self-produced by Dillon himself in his Calgary recording studio Electric Park, Freaks cuts through to the heart of The Electric Revival's sound. Prominently displaying Ian Dillon's monstrous guitar licks, Daniel Toews bludgeoning bass riffs, and the steady groove of drummer Dallas Lobb, Freaks showcases the dimensional growth amongst its members and their commitment to delve deeper into the rock n roll genre. Topping off this total package of sheer power, the band has utilized the amazing artwork from designer Angela Carson and photographer Steve Dutcheshen.
