MUTE announces a new guitarist and Ontario show dates!

Quebec melodic punk band Mute have recently announced that a new guitar player from Ontario will be joining the band full-time, and helping them bring their high-speed, technical punk rock to the masses! According to the official statement on the band's Facebook page:

“We want to officially welcome our new guitar player Matt to the team! Besides being an awesome guitar player and composer, Matt has been a great friend of the band for as long as we can remember. Some of you might even know him from his former band IVS. Stay tuned for more shows and tour announcements!”

The band will be joined by their friends Family Meeting, in the Ontario Trilogy Tour later this month. Below are the dates:

May 25, Barrie, ON – Foxx Loungd

May 26, Oshawa, ON – The Atria

May 27, Toronto, ON – The Garrison

These will be the first shows in Ontario to support their latest album, Remember Death, and the first time Mute has been back to the greater Toronto area since 2013. They will be playing several songs from the new album, as well as many older favorites from their 20-year mission to keep music fast and exciting!
